Welcome to PROFILE
PROFILE was developed in a participatory manner involving the participating NGOs, the communities served by the participating NGOs, the funding partners, and the Programme Manager. The programme is unique in the sense that it seeks to develop sustainable capability within NGOs by promoting a culture of active learning from the practical experiences of participants, rather than focusing on external theoretic input.

Directors’ Forum meeting
The directors of EED and ICCO partner organizations met once again for their now customary Directors’ Forum in May 2011. The meeting brought together directors from eighteen (18) organizations and the EED regional representative, Susanne Fischer.
::MORE::Focal persons workshop
A workshop to orient PROFILE focal persons was held on the 22nd of June 2011. The idea of a focal person in each participating organisation came about because of the need to have a point of contact to receive and disseminate PROFILE information within the organization as well as give timely feedback to PROFILE.
